Improving Our Minds
In a moment Ross and I are going to watch some of Richard Feynman’s series of lectures on Quantum Electrodynamics, because we are Lifelong Learners! And we want to Learn! About the weirdnesses of physics!
But a couple of things first:
1) A belated link to Jenn’s fantabulous second year show (Click “Preview” for a little — very little — video in which you can catch glimpses of the visually stunning costumery she singlehandedly masterminded).
2) It is the Ross’s birthday tomorrow, and he is turning the big two-three (yes, he’s a baby). Please leave a comment to say hi and happy birthday to him (even if you don’t know him) — he had some news last week that bummed him out, and although he’s handling it beautifully as always, he could certainly use a little celebratory cheer.
See you on the smarter side!

Hello Ross darling, HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Ash sends many many many coos and
gurgles and sloppy saliva drips and squeals of delight. Hope you have
a grand time with Meera :)

Happy birthday, Rosco P. Coltrane! (Growing up I thought it was Rosco Peco Train.) (It’s from Dukes of Hazzard, in case you grew up in a cave.) I hope you have a terrific birthday and a terrific year. 23 is a good one. Hope you are still getting carded!

I can’t think of a better way to celebrate your 23rd year than by learning everything there is to know about quantum physics. All I did was eat pizza in France.

Umm, Sus, he DID grow up in a cave.
But it musta been one helluva nice cave, because Ross grew up all groovy-like. 23 years of Ross in the world… how did we get so lucky?
Oh, Ross, I have a prezzie for you! (It might be replacement batteries for the ones you loaned me on our NYC trip.)

Ooh! Happy trendy-third, Ross!
(A reference to 23rd Ave in Portland, Oregon that none of you will get but I just had to say it. It’s called “trendy-third” because it is oh-so-stylish and cool, just like Ross! Except Ross is not overpriced. I think.)
