So far this weekend we have seen two acts of a very bad play and made a batch of very good beignets. Tomorrow we are going to visit one baby and one grandma. I think we’re doing well on variety.

What? You wanted an oven thermometer! Or a meat thermometer (not for meat, presumably). Not the same thing at ALL.
But if you send me your address and things I can put a candy thermometer in your package anyway.

Not quite the same league as clothing hangars, thermometers (candy thermometer? used to make and set sugary syrup and choolate, is it!) and beignets(whatever there are), but still useful for defination of La D0mestique, is the arrival of you niece, Sophia, today (30 October)morning about 11 something am. She came as a bit of a surprise although we have known for 9 months that she was due about now.
